The Library at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School is welcoming and well resourced. It fulfils both an educational and recreational role within the school and is available for use by the entire school community.
Volunteer helpers are always welcome and parents should feel free to browse and to borrow.
The library is open from 8:30am to 2:45pm daily. Students are able to borrow books and home readers during library times. Books are usually lent for one week with extensions if needed. Children are asked to provide a clearly labeled, water proof bag (separate from their school bag) for borrowing library books.
Students are able to access the library most lunch times, where they can browse through books, play board games, draw or have a place to chill out.
A Scholastic Book Fair is held once a year through our library. This is advertised widely and through our school newsletter.
